A world worth
building.
I loved Harry Potter as a kid, and I still love it as an adult. The world has always left me with questions, especially about wandlore, the nature of magic, and the rules beneath the wizarding world.
Even with companion books and later writings, much of its lore remains underdeveloped. Stories about the Marauders, the Founders, and the many lives beyond the original series are difficult to build when creators must invent the foundation at the same time as the story.
Resonance Theory and The Resonance Codex are my attempt to build that foundation: a living continuity bible that writers can examine, challenge, and use to create richer, more consistent stories without explaining away the mystery.
I believe J.K. Rowling should have no part in the creative future of Harry Potter. The complete rights should move to a new, community-minded studio or steward that can open this world to more voices and better stories.
My ultimate goal is a true Harry Potter Cinematic Universe: a world developed deeply enough to support many different stories, eras, and creators, not merely a chain of interconnected projects. I hope this Codex can help make that possible.
